Are you or your colleagues searching for ways to dive deeper into grantmaking practice conversations?
Philanthropy New York is pleased to announce a new series, Grantmaking Equity Hour: Deepening Your Practice, launching in June!
Our first session in this series will dive into the opportunities grantmakers have to improve the grantseeker experience, especially as it pertains to the processes and communications that bring them to the resources they need. During this conversation, participants will have an opportunity to discuss the ways they approach the movement of monetary and non-monetary resources to grantseekers.
What is the Grantmaking Equity Hour series?
Each hour-long session will be kicked off by conversation starters from your grantmaking peers who are eager to support peer-to-peer learning on equity-centered philanthropic practice, followed by open conversations. Examples of topics include, but are not limited to:
- Approaching your role as a grantmaker with greater power awareness
- Embedding trust and partnership into the way you approach your work
- Building accountability practices
Who should attend?
Members in grantmaking or grantmaking-adjacent roles, e.g., grants management, finance, etc.
