This in-person quarterly convening of the New York City Workforce Funders Collaborative will focus on the pivotal role major corporations are playing in New York City’s workforce development ecosystem. The session will feature leaders from corporations in in-demand sectors that have committed to developing new work-based learning opportunities and hiring initiatives focused on low-income New Yorkers. The discussion will include an examination of the ways these leading corporations are meeting their talent needs and diversity goals, increasing pathways to high-quality jobs, and improving NYC’s public workforce and education systems through public-private partnerships.

What will you learn?

  • Corporate-led workforce development initiatives.
  • Business leaders’ perspectives on the NYC economy and labor market.
  • Opportunities for corporations to inform career pathways and strengthen NYC’s workforce and education systems.

Who should attend?

  • All interested funders in grantmaking roles. What to expect: presentation followed by Q&A.
