*This program is hosted by our partner, BoardSource, who has extended an invitation to PNY members.*
If you’re a foundation CEO, trustee, or nonprofit leader navigating heightened expectations around transparency, accountability, and equity, this conversation is for you. Join us for a 70-minute candid, thought-provoking fireside conversation on May 7th at 2:00 PM ET where diverse perspectives take center stage. BoardSource CEO Monika Kalra Varma, sector leaders and authors Dimple Abichandani, and Vu Le will each bring a different window into different parts of the sector, and an honest dialogue about boards, power, and community voice will spark new thinking.
Through real stories from philanthropy and the field, they’ll explore what’s actually happening in the sector and offer different ways to reimagine governance and build better boards.
Grounded in BoardSource's recently published work, the speakers will explore how boards can better share power, center community, and lead with purpose—embracing both alignment and healthy debate.
Participants will leave with practical ideas and concrete actions they can apply in their own boardrooms and philanthropic work.
