New York City joins a growing national movement to add more paid internships and apprenticeships for young people. Modern youth apprenticeships blur the boundaries between traditional high school classroom learning and work experience. These opportunities allow young people to develop the necessary skills to successfully enter and navigate an ever-changing labor market that increasingly requires post-secondary education, skills training and upskilling.
Please join us for a discussion with nonprofit leaders and young people on the role of apprenticeships in NYC and its impact on the futures of the next generation.
