Philanthropy New York's staff and board are excited to share PNY’s 2022 - 2027 Strategic Framework with our member community. To develop this framework, PNY engaged in a 16-month process with staff, board, members, and sector partners reflecting on our vision, values, and role in the sector. We asked - what is the commitment we must make to deepen the equity work we started many years ago? The answer, outlined in this framework, is a restructuring of our institution and institutional relationships to become an anti-racist organization.

As Philanthropy New York members, you engage in a community characterized by learning and action. With this Strategic Framework, we commit to providing the support that allows you, your colleagues, and organizations to actively challenge the racism embedded in philanthropic structures, policies, and systems, and advance more inclusive practices that re-center those who have historically been marginalized and dehumanized. Together, we believe we can create a philanthropic ecosystem characterized by trust, relationship, and accountability to the society we want to be.
Explore PNY's 2022 - 2027 Strategic Framework and join us for a community conversation on December 13th. What resonates? What are you curious about? Where are you eager to contribute your experience and expertise?
