In 2022, Mayor Adams and Comptroller Lander released a joint report with specific recommendations on fixing the city's severe contract processing, registration, and payment delays for nonprofit providers. The city has made some meaningful progress but nonprofits continue to face significant operational challenges due to contract processing, registration, and payment delays going back as far as fiscal year 2023. Overall data also suggests fiscal year 2024 timelines are on track to be worse than the prior two years.
Please join us for a panel discussion with procurement representatives from the City government to discuss progress made, ongoing challenges, and how to get back on track to finally registering and paying nonprofits on time.
The event is open to members of Nonprofit New York, Human Services Council, and Philanthropy New York.
