Interactive projects are shaking up the documentary film landscape. With support from the Ford Foundation’s JustFilms initiative, Tribeca Film Institute®’s TFI New Media Fund has been the force behind some of the most exciting, innovative transmedia projects addressing social justice issues and rallying audiences to take action.
Join Ford Foundation president Darren Walker and TFI co-founder Jane Rosenthal for a special evening celebrating the remarkable achievements in immersive storytelling this five-year partnership has made possible. Special guests include Jigar Mehta, Nonny de la Peña, and Elaine McMillion Sheldon, and Hank Willis Thomas - visionary artists who will demonstrate their latest new media projects and discuss how emerging technologies can be used to create powerful social justice narratives that move beyond the screen into the real world. Come early to explore new media!
