Grantmaking Staff: Are you looking to deepen your practice as a grantmaker with greater power awareness? Or looking for accountability partners to hone your grantmaking practice with more trust and partnership? Grantmaking Equity Hour is here for you!

If you’ve benefited from attending one or more of our Grantmaking Equity Hour: Deepening Your Practice Series in the last two years or are ready to dive into our 2026-2027 launch, Philanthropy New York invites you to participate in our first-ever in-person Grantmaking Equity Hour (GEH) Networking and Brainstorming Session!

While our regular GEH sessions are virtual 75-minute peer-facilitated spaces, for this in-person session, we are asking for your help in sourcing 1) relevant and timely topics for the 2026-2027 series offering and 2) peer conversation-sparkers!

What will you learn?

Participants will

  • Build community with fellow programming or grantmaking-related staff within the PNY membership organizations
  • Compete with your peers in the task of naming and gaining influence for the most relevant and timely topics for the 2026-2027 series offerings
  • Meet peers who are grappling with the same issues you are in this ever-changing environment and exchange lessons and numbers

Who should attend?

This series is designed for members in grantmaking or grantmaking-adjacent roles, e.g., grants management, finance, etc. What to expect: Networking and brainstorming.
