Are you or your colleagues searching for ways to dive deeper into grantmaking practice conversations?
Philanthropy New York is pleased to announce a new series, Grantmaking Equity Hour: Deepening Your Practice, launched in June!
Our second session in this series will dive into collaborating with other funders.
Who should attend?
Members in grantmaking or grantmaking-adjacent roles, e.g., grants management, finance, etc.
What is it?
Each hour-long session will be kicked-off by conversation starters from your grantmaking peers who are eager to support peer-to-peer learning on equity-centered philanthropic practice, followed by open conversations. Examples of topics include, but are not limited to:
- Approaching your role as a grantmaker with greater power awareness
- Embedding trust and partnership into the way you approach your work
- Building accountability practices
What else should you know?
We aim to set a cadence of 3-4 virtual sessions across the year - learn more about each upcoming session and register here:
- Wednesday, June 26 - 12:00 PM (series launch) – Providing multi-year general support, non-monetary support, full costs of project grants
