Long Island’s Community Foundation Welcomes Christina Jonathan as a New Board Member
Melville, NY (June 8, 2021) – The Long Island Community Foundation proudly announces the appointment of Christina Jonathan, partner at Berkman Henoch Peterson Peddy & Fenchel to its Board of Directors.
Mrs. Jonathan represents clients in a broad range of tax controversies before the United States Tax Court, the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Dept. of Taxation and Finance, as well as other government regulatory agencies.
After earning her bachelor’s in business administration from Hofstra University in 2004, Mrs. Jonathan earned her law degree in 2009 from Touro Law School. While in law school, she successfully completed clinical programs with the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society and the New York State Division of Human Rights.
Mrs. Jonathan is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State and New York County Bar Associations, as well as Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. She has co-authored several articles in the New York Law Journal. She actively serves in her church and community.
