What are the critical priorities for behavioral health in the City? Join us for a lunch briefing with Dr. Hillary Kunins, the Executive Deputy Commissioner of Mental Hygiene at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), appointed earlier this year to lead the Department’s behavioral health agenda.

Dr. Kunin’s jurisdiction is wide: from supportive housing to children’s and geriatric mental health, preventing criminal justice involvement among people with mental illness to addressing opioid-related overdoses, and adapting to Medicaid reform to exploring workforce expansion. Dr. Kunins will share Department’s wide ranging behavioral health priorities and potential areas of overlap with philanthropy. The session is designed as an informal conversation between Dr. Kunins and the attendees.
