Foundation Names Meghan Jambor Interim Informed Communities Program Officer
The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation is pleased to announce that Meghan Jambor has been named interim Informed Communities Program Officer and Communications Director.
She is assuming the responsibilities of Molly de Aguiar, who recently was named Managing Director of the News Integrity Initiative at the Tow-Knight Center at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
In this expanded role, Jambor will continue to direct communications initiatives and oversee all aspects of the Foundation’s Informed Communities program, which makes grants to foster robust civic engagement through inclusive, people-powered news and information projects across the state. She will also manage partnerships and grants with outside funders toward supporting a connected and collaborative news and information ecosystem in New Jersey.
As Dodge’s Communications Manager, Jambor has been sharing news and stories about the Foundation and its grantees, working with organizations to help improve and amplify their work, and coordinating events and opportunities that foster relationship building among organizations within the Dodge community.
Before joining the Foundation, she was local editor at the Daily Record, a community newspaper serving Morris County, where she directed news coverage, oversaw social media outreach, and fostered community partnerships.
