Susan McMillan Joins Con Edison’s Public Affairs Department as Section Manager for Strategic Partnerships

Susan McMillanIn December 2011, Susan McMillan joined Con Edison’s Public Affairs department as Section Manager for Strategic Partnerships. In her new role, she will direct Con Edison’s corporate giving strategy and manage community relations, charitable giving, volunteerism, and the company’s special events programs. In this position, McMillan aims to highlight Con Edison’s continued commitment to the communities it serves, offering support and partnerships to community-based organizations while advancing the company’s mission.

McMillan has 13 years experience in nonprofit management. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York. As SVP, she was responsible for the overall membership development, fundraising, corporate communications, marketing, and outreach for the BBB’s three regional offices. She was also engaged in training and educating member businesses on corporate social responsibility.

McMillan holds a B.A. in English Literature and Media & Journalism from CUNY Brooklyn College and an M.A. in Media & Journalism from CUNY/Graduate Center.
