San Diego Grantmakers Hires Beeta Jahedi as Senior Director of Learning and Programs

In late 2014, San Diego Grantmakers launched a three-year fundraising campaign to build its capacity to better Unite, Activate, and Elevate philanthropy in San Diego through the pursuit of several key objectives. One of those objectives included the hiring of a full-time staff position to oversee the planning and implementation of all educational and networking services to members.

The organization is pleased to announce that Beeta Jahedi will join the SDG team as Senior Director of Learning and Programs effective July 24, 2015.

Most recently, Beeta served as Senior Program Associate in the President’s Office at The JPB Foundation where she managed a $50 million portfolio of grants in poverty, family planning, arts education, and effective philanthropy. She also brings significant experience planning and facilitating philanthropic learning, garnered from her time as Assistant Director of Learning Services at our fellow regional grantmaker association, Philanthropy New York.
