Rockefeller Foundation Adds Donald Kaberuka to its Board of Trustees
 
The Rockefeller Foundation has appointed former African Development Bank (AfDB) president Donald Kaberuka to its board of trustees.
 
The 14-member board of trustees is responsible for overseeing the grant-making, budget and investment strategies for the 102- year-old global institution.
 
Kaberuka was the seventh AfDB president, completing his 10-year tenure at the end of August after beginning his first term in 2005.
 
AfDB is Africa’s premier development finance institution, with 54 member countries and authorised capital of around $100 billion.
 
“The Rockefeller Foundation is committed to forging strategic partnerships, as we make progress in addressing today’s most pressing challenges,” board chair, David Rockefeller Jr said. . .
