Philanthropy New York is pleased to announce that Nadia Lagani-Montiel has been promoted to Manager of Member Services. In her new position, she plays a leadership role in the overall strategy, management and implementation of Philanthropy New York’s database and membership recruitment and retention efforts. She works closely with the Vice President of Member Services to manage and serve as a resource to the Board of Directors and the Committee on Members in their recruitment and retention efforts. Nadia also provides key advice and support to the Board of Directors and our PNY’s executive staff around the use of social media as it relates to the Communications Department’s strategy. Nadia also serves as an external resource for members around social media, primarily when applying social media efforts responses to Philanthropy New York’s professional networks and programming.
Prior to joining Philanthropy New York in 2010, Nadia worked as a Center Manager at Grameen America and a Research and Property Management Assistant at Rabina Properties. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Pace University. She is currently a volunteer at the New York Women’s Agenda, helping the Board’s Vice President of Communications/Media create and implement their Social Media policy.
