Nadia Lagani-Montiel Appointed Grants Manager at The Tow Foundation

Nadia Lagani MontielNadia Lagani-Montiel has joined the staff of The Tow Foundation as Grants Manager. Her responsibilities include playing a leadership role as the database administrator for the Foundation’s new online grantmaking database; managing the Foundation’s expenditures; and, overseeing and administering the Foundation’s website and social media presence.
 
Prior to joining The Tow Foundation, Lagani-Montiel worked at Philanthropy New York, where she played a leadership role in the overall strategy, management and implementation of PNY’s database and membership recruitment and retention efforts. She also provided key advice and support to the Board of Directors and Philanthropy New York’s executive staff around the use of social media as it related to the Communications department’s strategy. Lagani-Montiel has also worked as a Center Manager at Grameen America and a Research and Property Management Assistant at Rabina Properties.
 
Lagani-Montiel is currently volunteering at the New York Women’s Agenda, where she is helping the Board’s Vice President of Communications/Media create and implement their social media policy. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Pace University.
