Milbank Memorial Fund Appoints Tara Strome as Chief Operating Officer
Tara Strome, managing editor of The Milbank Quarterly, has been appointed chief operating officer (COO) of The Milbank Memorial Fund. She succeeds Kathleen Andersen, who retired in April 2021 after 32 years of service for the Fund, the last 21 as vice president and COO.
Kathleen started her distinguished career at the Fund as a program officer and was known among her professional colleagues for her commitment to the Fund’s mission, to evidence-informed public policy, and to documenting the Fund’s 116-year history.
