Liza Sutherland has joined the staff of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, where she works with the Donor Services Team and engages with a range of family foundations, corporate clients and individual donors. She has significant experience in grantmaking related to college access and success, social services, arts and culture and youth development. In addition, Sutherland has experience researching a variety of issue areas, while working with clients to develop and implement grant strategies and realize their philanthropic goals.
Prior to joining RPA, Sutherland worked for six years as a Philanthropic Advisor at The Philanthropic Initiative of the Boston Foundation and for three years as a Research Associate at American Institutes for Research. Liza received her B.A. in Communications with a minor in History from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, VA.
