Lilien Leaves Charities Bureau to Join Zuckerman Spaeder

Jason R. Lilien, former New York State Charities Bureau Chief under Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman and former Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, has moved on to joined the firm of Zuckerman Spaeder LLP. Lilien will be leading the firm's new Nonprofit Organizations Practice based in it NYC office. Lilien, who brings years of government experience as head of the largest state charities regulatory office in the country, will represent clients throughout the nonprofit sector in corporate governance and compliance matters, internal investigations, regulatory and enforcement actions, corporate transactions, nonprofit formation, and charitable fundraising.
