Katherine Bleich has recently joined the staff of American Express, supporting their philanthropic initiatives as an intern. In addition to her role there, Bleich is a second-year Master of Public Administration candidate at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service, specializing in international public and nonprofit management. Prior to NYU, she served as the Special Assistant to the CEO at Endeavor, the nonprofit organization driving high-impact entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
A graduate of the American University of Paris, Bleich earned her Bachelor of Arts in European Culture Studies & Philosophy, and wrote her thesis on John Rawls’ A Theory of Justice. With a longstanding passion for philanthropy as a driver of systemic change, she has volunteered and traveled extensively with many leading NGOs and has been a delegate at the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship annually since 2007. Bleich also serves as an advisor to International Bridges to Justice.
