JPB Foundation Vice President Donna Lawrence to Become President/CEO of I Have A Dream Foundation
Lawrence will take up her position as President/CEO on July 1. IHDF was started 30 years ago by the philanthropist, Eugene Lang who wanted to do something to help level the playing field for children living in poverty so that they could have the same opportunities for college or career as their more affluent peers. With about 30 sites across the country, IHDF provides long-term support to children and youth in under-resourced communities from an early age through high school with a guarantee of financial support for post-secondary education for those who graduate from high school. IHDF is at an important and exciting juncture as it seeks to improve and expand it's model and also leverage it's human and financial capital to impact broader policy reform.
