Elizabeth Leiman Kraiem Joins Guttman Foundation Board of Directors

The Stella and Charles Guttman Foundation is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Leiman Kraiem has joined the board of directors. Elizabeth is the Executive Director of the Jewish Foundation for Education of Women, a New York City-based, nonsectarian organization helping women with financial need meet their educational and career goals through scholarships and opportunities for professional development. She served as co-chair of the Steering Committee for PNY’s Funders of Women and Girls and is on the judging panel for the Genesis Generation challenge. Ms. Kraiem was a member of the founding team of the Nathan Cummings Foundation and worked several years in Jewish education.

The Guttman Foundation directs a substantial portion of its grantmaking to early childhood programs that serve low income infants, toddlers and preschoolers as they transition to kindergarten. The Foundation is also committed to fund place-based programs in neighborhoods with high levels of poverty and a large concentration of public housing.
