The Charles H. Revson Foundation Elects Ariel Zwang to Board of Trustees

The Revson Foundation has announced Ariel Zwang’s election to the Board of Directors, effective October 26, 2021.

Ariel Zwang has served as CEO of the humanitarian organization American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) since January 2021. As CEO, Ariel coordinates projects in both Jewish and non-Jewish communities in 70 countries.

Prior to joining the JDC, Ariel spent twelve years as CEO of Safe Horizon, a leading social service agency in the United States. She has also served as a board member of the Human Services Council of New York and the Points of Light Foundation. Her achievements in these positions helped earn her the title of “2nd most powerful nonprofit leader in New York State” on City and State’s Annual Power List.

Revson Foundation President Julie Sandorf writes, “Revson is the fortunate beneficiary of Ariel’s extensive knowledge and expertise in New York City’s nonprofit sector and global Jewish philanthropy.”

Ariel received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College.
