Charles H. Revson Foundation Appoints Martha King as Senior Program Officer and Meredith Korn as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
The Charles H. Revson Foundation announced that Martha King will join the Foundation as senior program officer on July 13. In this role, Martha will manage the urban affairs and education grantmaking portfolios.
Within these areas, the Revson Foundation seeks to support and cultivate a creative, informed, pluralistic, and engaged New York City citizenry. In recent years, the Foundation has sought opportunities to strengthen New York City's communities and civic spaces, re-envision public libraries, secure affordable housing, and build local public affairs journalism.
Most recently, Martha was the executive director of the New York City Board of Correction. Prior to that, she was a policy advisor to the first deputy mayor of New York City. Martha has provided policy, fundraising, and strategy consulting to more than a dozen New York City based nonprofits. She is a fellow in the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation Network and on the Board of Directors of the Correctional Association of New York.
Meredith Korn will join the Foundation as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, succeeding Azade Ardali, who will be retiring in July.
A CPA with extensive eperience in the nonprofit sector, Meredith was partner in the Owen J. Flanagan accounting firm and has worked with numerous foundations and nonprofit organizations in the New York metro area.
