Cecilia Stancell Promoted to Director of Programs at Dyson Foundation

The Dyson Foundation has promoted Cecilia Stancell of Wassaic to serve as the philanthropic foundation’s new Director of Programs.

“Cecilia has worked for the Foundation for the past 15 years and has excelled in every way. She brings the right blend of experience and expertise to this important post,” said Foundation President Andrea Reynolds.

In her new role, Ms. Stancell will work with the Millbrook-based foundation’s Chairman and the President to direct and manage its grantmaking programs, including the supervision of the Foundation's program staff, review and analysis of proposals, the development of grantmaking policies and guidelines and, as appropriate, the development of new initiatives that are consistent with the Foundation's mission. She started with the Foundation in 2000 as the communications associate and, in 2005, was promoted to the position of Program Officer.
