Cary A. Kravet Joins the Board of United Hospital Fund
 
Mr. Kravet is the president and chief executive officer of Kravet Inc., a fifth-generation family business based in Bethpage, New York, that is a global leader in decorative home furnishings. He has been an active trustee of the North Shore-LIJ Health System since 2000, currently serving on its Executive Committee and chairing its Committee on Quality. He previously chaired its Committee on Community Health; he also serves on the board of directors of Huntington Hospital.
 
Mr. Kravet received his undergraduate degree from Emory University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He also studied at the Wharton School of Business. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children.

Since 1998, Mr. Kravet has served as executive board trustee of the Decorative Furnishings Association.
