Burman, Viera Named to Board of Funders for LGBTQ Issues
 
Rohit Burman, executive director, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at the M.A.C. AIDS Fund, and Bia Vieira, vice president of Philanthropic Services at The Philadelphia Foundation, have joined the board of Funders for LGBTQ Issues.
 
Rohit has spent more than decade in philanthropy, previously working at JP Morgan Chase Philanthropic Services and the MetLife Foundation. Rohit serves on the board of Philanthropy New York, and is a member of the Steering Committee of Africa Grantmakers Affinity Group, the Education Committee for the Museum of Modern Art and the Leadership Council of the Support Center for Nonprofit Management.
 
Since 2008, Bia has developed and implemented strategies for The Philadelphia Foundation’s programming, initiatives and priorities for its $29 million in grantmaking investments. She currently serves on the number the boards of Philadelphia Community College and the Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia.
