Brooklyn Community Foundation names Tynesha McHarris Director of Community Leadership
Tynesha McHarris will be joining the Foundation next week in a new position as Director of Community Leadership. Tynesha has been working with us since January on Brooklyn Insights, overseeing Neighborhood Dialogues and Community Engagement Fellows. As a full-time staff member, she will help design the Foundation’s new community leadership and grantmaking strategy, as well as spearhead special projects, including our Healthy Communities initiative.
Tynesha formerly worked alongside the Foundation’s President Cecilia Clarke as the Newark Program Director of Sadie Nash Leadership Project, and most recently was the Director of Programs & Community Engagement at Newark Trust for Education.
