Beeta Jahedi Joins The JPB Foundation

Beeta Jahedi has been named the new Senior Program Associate, President's Office at The JPB Foundation. In this role, she will work with president Barbara Picower in the foundation's grantmaking areas of health, poverty and the environment. 

Jahedi most recently served as the Assistant Director of Learning Services at Philanthropy New York, where she was responsible for implementation of the organization’s programming strategy and led the creation and management of PNY’s program series and events, coordinating logistics, technology, communications, resources, distance-learning offerings, program-related web content and registration. 

Jahedi is on the Screening Committee for the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, serves as Secretary of the Junior Board of Directors of Girls Incorporated of New York City, is a Co-Leader of the Alumni in Philanthropy Group for NYUWagner and is on the Steering Committee for the Emerging Leaders Network for the National Council for Research on Women. She received her M.P.A. in Public and Nonprofit Management and Administration from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies from Bard College at Simon's Rock.
