POSITION SUMMARY
The Informatics Project Specialist supports the Informatics team to ensure that various projects are efficiently organized and executed and supports the administrative needs of Informatics leadership. This position requires in-depth knowledge of operations, data and administrative needs.
The Project Specialist must be able to proactively anticipate the needs of the senior staff members that they will support, be comfortable working in a collaborative fast-paced environment and be accountable to multiple stakeholders. The Project Specialist reports to the Vice President of Informatics and will work closely with the Senior Director of Software Engineering, Deputy Director of Bioinformatics and Senior Director of Product Analytics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take proactive responsibility for the coordination of work-related activities for VP of Informatics. Be knowledgeable about activities to ensure the VP’s calendar is effectively maintained and appointments are appropriately scheduled, ensuring that the VP is prepared with required materials for all meetings and that travel and conference arrangements are properly made.
- Act as the first point of contact for the VP of Informatics, including preparing and responding to routine correspondence, screening telephone calls, fielding inquiries and requests, and responding to or referring as appropriate.
- Provide administrative support for the Senior Director of Software Engineering, Deputy Director of Bioinformatics and Senior Director of Product Analytics. This may include but is not limited to calendaring, making travel and conference arrangements, and processing reimbursement requests.
- Provide organizational support for various Informatics initiatives and projects, including but not limited to scheduling and attending meetings, taking meeting minutes, documenting the outcomes and action items/next steps and following-up to ensure action items are completed in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain Monday.com boards, which are used for project management purposes.
- Track progress of various projects and keep VP of Informatics informed of any key changes to project timelines.
- Create and update standard operating procedures and ensure adherence by members of the Informatics team.
- Archive and organize Informatics Dropbox files and Google Drive.
- Foster and build good working relationships and strong networks with a variety of people both externally and internally within the foundation.
- Perform various other administrative tasks and assist with all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Exposure to scientific and informatics terminology a plus
Experience
- At least four years of experience required, with one year being project coordination experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $74,000 – $85,000, dependent on experience.
