Two of five people dealing with job insecurity — losing a job or receiving an hourly or pay cut — have also lost health insurance, are worried about losing insurance, or were uninsured before the pandemic hit.

The Fund has raised more than one million dollars from many generous donors and has rapidly deployed $450,000 to the region’s nonprofits to provide vitally important services during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The aid will provide immediate relief for vulnerable communities and push back against government encroachment on political freedoms.

The Partnership for Healthy Cities COVID-19 Response Center, part of Bloomberg Philanthropies' Global Coronavirus Response Initiative, connects a network of 70 cities to crucial technical assistance and peer-to-peer support.
