The Service for Impact working group, rooted in the principles of Reimagining Service, provides a unique opportunity for both corporate grantmakers and corporate volunteer managers to foster a peer network, share successes and challenges, brainstorm on solutions, and explore new opportunities to make a difference in society while supporting business objectives through volunteerism. This session will contain opportunities to discuss how the volunteerism landscape has changed in recent years and how these changes have manifested for volunteerism practitioners in the sector.
The formula for successful volunteer programs has shifted since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and companies and organizations are working to identify new strategies for success. This session will begin with volunteer engagement trends from CECP’s annual Giving in Numbers publication and then move to brainstorming breakouts to re-imagine the future of volunteerism given today’s hybrid work environment.
