Strategic volunteerism is a critical component of how corporations harness the time and talent of employees at all levels to support nonprofit partners and meet true community needs.

This working group,  rooted in the principles of Reimagining Service, provides an opportunity for both corporate grantmakers and corporate volunteer leaders to foster a peer network, share successes and challenges, brainstorm on solutions, and explore new opportunities to make a difference in society while supporting business objectives through volunteerism.

At this meeting, we’ll explore the interface between CSR and HR, diving into the importance of harmonizing the two functions to work in partnership, within the framework of volunteerism. We will work to understand and highlight how both departments can successfully leverage the skills and roles of the other to deliver greater impact on the organization’s business and societal goals.
