Strategic volunteerism is a critical component of how corporations harness the time and talent of employees at all levels to support nonprofit partners and meet true community needs.

This working group, rooted in the principles of Reimagining Service, provides a unique opportunity for both corporate grantmakers and corporate volunteer managers to foster a peer network, share successes and challenges, brainstorm on solutions, and explore new opportunities to make a difference in society while supporting business objectives through volunteerism.

In the first of our three working group meetings this year, which we’ll focus on challenging the status quo and encouraging innovative solutions to achieve higher impact through corporate volunteering, we will welcome guest speaker, Arthur Woods, co-founder of Imperative, an organization focused on the idea that purpose-driven professionals are the future of our workforce and our economy.

The agenda will include a networking breakfast, Imperative presentation and insights, facilitated group discussion on purpose-driven employees, and small table brainstorming on innovative ways to push boundaries, achieve impact and measure success. We look forward to having your voice at the table and hope to see you there!
