How do you understand the full context around your grantees, portfolio, and funding landscape across New York? And how can tools like the New York Philanthropy Hub help foundations make decisions that are not only more strategic, but also more equitable?
Join Philanthropy New York for a virtual conversation with Impala, the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation, and Bessemer Trust on how the Impala platform and New York Philanthropy Hub are helping foundations better understand the philanthropic ecosystem across New York. This session will introduce Impala, explore the Hub’s latest capabilities, and highlight how foundations are using it in practice for ecosystem research, due diligence, and portfolio analysis. Grounded in questions of equity, access, and decision-making, the discussion will consider how data tools can help funders better understand who is being supported, where gaps remain, and what opportunities exist to reduce bias and strengthen outcomes across the sector.
What will I learn?
Participants will be able to:

- Learn how foundations such as the Carnegie Corporation of New York and Bessemer Trust are using these tools to inform strategy and strengthen their work
Who should attend?
