Are there still places you’d like to explore in New York City, but you haven’t found the time or the right guide to make it a meaningful experience? Last summer, Philanthropy New York launched the New York Adventure Series, with site visits to Red Hook, Snug Harbor, and Governors Island.
Please join us for an informal, peer-led brownbag breakfast conversation about place-based funding and help us plan for the 2012 series. We welcome your reflections on the 2011 New York Adventure Series, and invite you to share your ideas concerning this year’s program. Come shape this educational series and learn more about lesser-known “jewels” across the boroughs.
