On April 14, funders across various sectors and issues convened to explore the next steps in the expansion of Community Schools in New York City. At this meeting, we discussed the role of philanthropy in working with community schools. Funders shared their thoughts about the importance of a strategic plan and public presence – and how philanthropy can best respond.
Join us on May 26 to discuss the City’s Strategic Plan (released May 4) with City officials and funder colleagues.
