We know that foundations are about more than their financial capacity. But, how do we frame the full scope of what a foundation is and does? To address this question, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors launched the “Theory of the Foundation” initiative, inspired by Peter Drucker’s famed article, The Theory of the Business.
Join Melissa Berman, President and CEO of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, as she leads a discussion about a new framework for shaping, discussing and assessing the core beliefs and capabilities that underlie a foundation, or any giving program.
Explore how the “Theory of the Foundation” framework allows funders to look at their giving, the environments in which they operate, and their core competencies with fresh eyes and renewed commitment — potentially setting a new course and increasing impact for your organization.
