Dr. Cara V. James took up the reigns as President and CEO of Grantmakers in Health (GIH) in March 2020, just about the time the country began its shut-down due to COVID-19. With the cancellation of the GIH’s annual conference in June due to the pandemic—a time many of GIH’s 25 members from New York State were looking forward to meeting her and welcoming her (back) to health philanthropy.
Philanthropy New York and the New York Funders Alliance invite you a virtual meet-and-greet with Dr. James. This virtual meeting also gives Dr. James a chance to learn about GIH’s membership in New York State.
