The Foundation Administrators Network (FAN) is a professional peer network designed to support administrative professionals at Philanthropy New York member organizations.  In addition to sharing information over an active listserv, the network meets quarterly to give participants an opportunity to connect with colleagues in person, discuss topics of interest in a confidential setting, and meet Philanthropy New York staff who support the network. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Agenda

8:30 - 9:00am: Breakfast and Networking
9:00 - 10:30am: Program

FAN members are resourceful.  We have to be!  Wearing multiple hats in varying roles, we’re always discovering smart and proven ways to be more productive, efficient, and cost effective.  Our FAN listserv is a great tool for idea and information sharing, but it only reveals a fraction of our group’s great resource inventory.

Come to the FAN “Best Resources Swap Meet” and trade details on your best resources for administration, operations, HR, IT, etc., with others.  These can be books, websites, consultants, speakers, service providers, courses—anything that’s really helped you that you’d highly recommend to others.

Before you come, please write down your three “bests” and bring the list with you.  We’ll collect everyone’s lists upon arrival and create a complete inventory to share with the network.

At the meeting you’ll be asked to briefly showcase one or more of your three resources.  Bringing samples or handouts is welcome, though not required.

Reminder: As always, creating a confidential space at network meetings is very important.  Please do not share specific details from the meetings with individuals outside the network.

Designed for
