In addition to quarterly meetings, the Foundation Administrators Network hosts an annual brown bag lunch series. Rather than have a set agenda and program, these lunches are forums for informal group discussions that can be shaped by current issues on members’ minds and desks. During this Brown Bag Lunch session, we look forward to discussing hiring and onboarding in our new remote environment.
Most organizations have transitioned to remote work in response to the coronavirus pandemic, making completely virtual onboarding of new hires a necessity. But providing a superb onboarding experience virtually can be a challenge for employers doing it for the first time. Hiring and onboarding new employees completely virtually is a new concept for most employers.
Onboarding plays a critical role in a new hire's success and happiness. And good onboarding is especially important for remote employees, since they don't have as many opportunities to organically integrate into the company processes and culture.
Please join us for a peer group discussion and interactive dialogues.
