***This program is hosted by our partners, Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP), who extended an invitation to PNY members.
On June 24, two powerful earthquakes devastated Venezuela, leaving approximately 1,000 dead, thousands injured, tens of thousands reported missing, and entire communities struggling to meet urgent humanitarian needs. Rescue and recovery efforts continue, with families searching for loved ones in a local infrastructure that has been severely damaged. Vulnerable populations in particular face growing risks in the days and months ahead. While the full scale of the disaster is still emerging, we know that immediate, flexible resources are needed to support frontline organizations and community-led response efforts.
We invite donors and philanthropic partners to join an urgent briefing on Wednesday, July 8, at 2:00 PM Central to receive updates on the evolving situation, hear directly about priority needs on the ground, and learn how funding can have the greatest impact during this critical moment.
We will share opportunities for support and guidance on how donors can navigate immediate relief and invest in longer-term recovery.
