Over the past decade, diversity, equity and inclusion have become a major focus of the philanthropic sector. Initiatives like the D5 Coalition work to collect best practices and strategies and advise the sector on the benefits that diversity, equity and inclusion (or “DEI”) can provide.

Many human resources practitioners would like to promote DEI practices at their foundations, but they have often reported a lack of resources that would help them “make the case” on a professional level for increasing diversity at their organizations. And for staff at smaller foundations who “wear the HR hat” along with many others, the challenge can be just as acute.

Join us for an interactive discussion on the link between increased staff diversity, inclusive practices and organizational effectiveness. The panel will include HR practitioners who have successfully linked DEI and effectiveness at their own foundations, as well as expert insight on incorporating research on DEI and effectiveness into executive-level conversations to promote the business benefits of increasing internal diversity, equity and inclusion.
