Please join us for the third call in this series convening Philanthropy New York members to communicate and collaborate around recovery funding, both in the short-term and long-term. This call will get beyond the general discussion of what’s happening and delve into activities and funding initiatives to address the needs of specific populations and particular communities.
This series of teleconferences, held on Fridays at 2 PM, is designed to let funders share early decisions about recovery funding and exchange questions and up-to-the-minute knowledge with one another.
Government officials and other key stakeholders will give updates on these calls and begin to describe the areas where they see possible gaps in government services as relief is distributed, and consequently illuminate areas where private and corporate dollars would be most helpful and effective in recovery efforts.
