Today FORE announced $2.2 million in new grants to community-based organizations (CBOs) that offer harm reduction, prevention, treatment, and recovery supports in urban and rural communities nationwide.

At Philanthropy New York, we have no shortage of will to see equity-centered change management succeed in our organization and within our ecosystem, but we are just beginning to fully appreciate the different skills and courage required for the work.

The grants will help improve access to exceptional medical treatment for all Minnesotans, whether they live in the heart of Minneapolis or a smaller rural or underserved community.

The ten fellows were chosen through a rigorous peer-review process. All are doctoral candidates at African universities exploring important problems of violence related to the African continent.
