Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors published its second biennial “ Global Trends and Strategic Time Horizons in Philanthropy ” report. This is the only global survey of philanthropy of its kind.
Grants support a wide range of programs, including advocacy, environment and sustainability, and skills-building for workforce development professionals.
Of grants awarded, the majority were renewals, with a handful of new grants for organizations that were invited to apply based on advisory committee, donor, and staff recommendations.
A total of $3.9 million will be awarded to 50 organizations from 18 states and the District of Columbia to support visual arts programs, exhibitions, and curatorial research projects that contribute to artistic flourishing around the country.
Three major grants significantly expand the Foundation’s global Health Initiative, focusing on sharing New York-based expertise around the world to improve access to essential health care.
