Strategic volunteerism is a critical component of how corporations harness the time and talent of employees at all levels to support nonprofit partners and meet true community needs.

This working group, rooted in the principles of Reimagining Service, provides an opportunity for both corporate grantmakers and corporate volunteer leaders to foster a peer network, share successes and challenges, brainstorm on solutions, and explore new opportunities to make a difference in society while supporting business objectives through volunteerism.

In the second of our three working group meetings this year, we’ll continue focusing on challenging the status quo and encouraging innovative solutions to achieve higher impact through corporate volunteering. We'll explore how we strengthen the social and business value of our employee engagement programs when we ensure solid alignment with corporate business strategy and when we establish specific, measurable long-term shared goals with our partners.  A number of companies will share their best practices in this area.
