Strategic volunteerism is a critical component of how corporations harness the time and talent of colleagues at all levels to support nonprofit partners and meet true community needs.
This working group, rooted in the principles of Reimagining Service, provides an opportunity for both corporate grantmakers and corporate volunteer managers to foster a peer network, share successes and challenges, brainstorm on solutions, and explore new opportunities to make a difference in society while supporting business objectives through volunteerism.
At our upcoming meeting, you’ll hear the latest trends in Employee Engagement from CECP’s Giving in Numbers research, then we’ll deep dive, “speed-dating” style, into the successes and challenges that corporations face while incorporating and sustaining strategic volunteering at their companies. Small table discussions - led by organizations who facilitate a variety of volunteer and employee engagement opportunities for corporations in the community - will allow attendees to share their challenges with peers and experts and come away with a variety of perspectives for best practices and innovative solutions.
