This in-person convening of the New York City Workforce Funders will be produced in partnership with the New York City Employment and Training Coalition and will build on the collaborative’s March 2024 session on strategies to help immigrants, migrants, asylum-seekers, and refugees connect to the workforce.
The convening will bring together leaders from nonprofit organizations, city, and state government, and workforce development intermediaries to lift up promising industry-specific training models and examine the systemic challenges that compromise the workforce sector’s ability to prepare new New Yorkers for employment.
